The exterior is lovely and traditional, in a Valley of the Sun kind of way, but the inside spaces exude the very influences which spawned our style in the first place. Massive, rustic, and colorful hand carved pieces from the Mediterranean and more specifically Morocco; adorn the entire fabulously decorated interior. The homeowners are importers of fine fabrics, furniture, and accessories from all over the Mediterranean. Situated in a prime Paradise Valley location, the home feels as if you were walking into a residence in Marrakech. Everything, from the brilliantly colored Saris to the authentic furniture, shows like a lived-in showroom. Pocket courtyards and spaces connect to surround the property; Moroccan tents and lanterns adorn; and the native landscaping provides a lush hideaway, perfect for the smaller more intimate groups. Start with cocktails on the front patio, and watch the sunset over the mountains, and move to the rear for dinner on the lawn. Pipe in some original Moroccan music and you feel like you have stepped into another world!
This is a charming tour home or corporate event venue for a small dinner group of 40 people.
